Picture framing is a truly creative process in its own right, there are no strict rules on presentation. We offer a professional high quality picture framing service with all work carried out on the premises.
Collectively we have over 25 years experience in all aspects of art and framing. With a wealth of knowledge, we provide friendly expert advice.
Whether your taste is traditional or contemporary we are able to help you make the right choice for your artwork providing a well constructed frame which serves to not only enhance your artwork but to protect the artwork and maintain the condition.
Set up by Richard and Elise in 2010, the business was taken over by Oakley in 2017. We have since had Debbie, Bethan, Sophie and Sarah join us, as well as having continued support by Paddy. Having had our 10 year anniversary in April 2020, we continue to look forward to many more years in serving the picture framing industry.
Our Process & FAQ’s
Do I need an appointment to bring my artwork in?
No, we do not run appointments normally. But if you have a particularly valuable piece, please get in touch as we may require an appointment for design and to complete the framing works.
How long does the framing process take?
We work with a lead time of usually around two to three weeks. This can vary depending on the Job, time of year and the requirements. We try and accommodate customer deadlines as best as we can, so if your after something quickly - Give us a call.
Is Conservation your standard?
Although our standard materials are all of highest quality, we give the option to upgrade certain elements to give complete protection to your artwork.
The bar is already high with our Standard mount board is PH neutral - acid free and our standard backing board is also moisture resistant.
If conservation is key, we offer the option to upgrade the glazing to our UV range of Art Glass, in addition to adding barrier papers and conservation hinging tapes. If budget allows we can also use museum Cotton rag mount board, which although is a higher cost gives the best long term protection.
What is your Warranty policy?
We guarantee our workmanship, and want to make sure you have piece of mind long term. Our warranty is typically two to five years depending on the work that has been carried out and environmental factors in the hanging location. Enquire when having your work done to your warranty and what elements are included.
